Here is a step-by-step process in replacing the fuel pump:

1. Before starting the fuel pump replacement operation, safety should be considered first. Try to work on a well ventilated area, much better if the area is open. Make sure to have a fire extinguisher nearby.

2. Fuel pumps produces massive amount of fuel pressure to supply the electronic fuel injection of the system with lots of pressurized fuel. 8. The last and final step is to detach the wires that give power to the fuel pump. Two wires are present here, one is positive and the other is ground. It’s a nice idea to make a note that will help differentiate one from the other.
